Process of Modifing Parts of the Molds of Existing Products:
- Client send us the 3D data of their designs which is going to be attached to our existing product.
- Our designers will check the 3D data to make sure that it works well with the structure of our existing product and also help improve the structure design if needed.
- We will use this 3D data to make a PROTOTYPE (MOCK-UP SAMPLE) and send to customer for approval.
- Once customer approves the mock-up sample, we can start making the mould. (The time of making the new mould is usually about 20-40 days)
- Once the mould is finished, we will install it into the plastic injection machine for mould testing. (Normally it takes about one week for testing the mould.)
- If the first-shot of sample has problem, the mould maker will adjust the mould until it’s perfect. After adjustment, we will send the final sample to customer for approval.
- Once the final sample is approved by customer, we can start mass production.
